The International Speech Test Signal (ISTS) is a test signal use to measure and calibrate hearing aid performance. It was developed by using a combination of 6 different languages, English, Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish, French and German by 21 different female speakers to produce an internationally applicable speech signal.
